I took my teenage son with me because it was a good lesson about just how different the fringes of our society are ... and how thin the line is between how we live and how they live. It always makes my blood run cold to see kids playing in those places.
It is sad to see toys in those yards, tipped over, left
along with boards, old garden hoses, maybe a laundry basket...
