I’ve known several people who lived without electric or running water. One guy had squirrels living up stairs but he didnt care.
Another was bit by a rattlesnake in his kitchen. I thought he might be taking it too far.

I'm heading for that myself. Already have most of the material and the gear gathered up, I just don't know where I want to be when I grow up yet. I'm getting close, though. Winter has already been tough around these parts and it isn't even here yet.
The curleyque light bulb in the porch light is a nice touch. Glad to see the high level of environmental consciousness there.
