I am SO offended that they put the gender of the suspect in the crime alerts. That clearly makes ALL males suspects in crimes and makes it difficult for me to go about my daily activities.

They need to put links to their gender non-discrimination policy in their crime alerts, too.

Better yet, they should just make the crime alerts read: “A suspect committed a crime.” That would be completely non-judgmental and fair to all.

I disagree. That would unfairly single out people who happen to be walking alone.

It should read: “A suspect, or perhaps a group of suspects, committed a crime. We'd rather not say how large the group was, if even there was a group in the first place.”

Maybe they should include gender identity?

Absolutely. Then the PC Police Dept. can get right to work shaking down and frisking little old blue haired ladies as soon as possible.
