“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then; and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Gal 5:1

When is the DNC going to apologize to the American people for destroying the finest insurance industry the world has ever seen? There are people actually suffering and worrying they may not have coverage in two weeks as opposed to the Marxist lies we heard about the so called crisis he invented to trick the people into going along with Obamacare. They passed a law and like all Soviet style tyrants they went back on their own bill and are trying to transform what they have into a turd milkshake. The problem with Marxists is they have no feelings for anybody outside of their preferred groups so there is absolutely no compassion for those losing their insurance policies. These are the White Americans he despises.

When Obama said, “If you like your policy you can keep your policy, period,” he knew he was lying and absolutely did not care. These dyed in the wool Marxists do not care about anything or anybody outside of promoting their agenda. They will do whatever it takes to expand their power and control to build their Soviet style utopia. They tell the people they are looking out for them by using smoke and mirror clichés such as the 1% vs the 99% when they want to replace the current power brokers with themselves. They continually lecture how you cannot trust the current capitalist leaders, yet you can trust them as a replacement when they are far less trustworthy than the people they want to replace.

The private market promotes by earning your advancement through measurable goals or it will fail in the marketplace. Private companies which continue to keep or advance incompetence will face an untimely end which is immediate feedback to those companies on what and who works and what doesn’t. Private companies have a natural barometer of what is a good idea or manager and what is not by the bottom line and profit margin. The profit margin is an objective measure of what works and what does not which is what forces the private market to make the tough decisions as well as how to work efficiently. It has a natural measuring stick the public sector does not have or want.

The insurance industry began over a thousand years ago and the American Industry began during colonial times. Ben Franklin was one of the founders of an insurance company and they have continually developed techniques to spread the risk and predict their losses so the industry can cover as many people as possible. Not only do the companies spread the risk among their own policy owners, there is a cooperative which spreads the risk among companies called reinsuring. On top of reinsuring there is an even larger reinsurer called Lloyds of London which allows these companies to buy insurance for themselves in case of a catastrophic loss across the country which could potentially wipe out the entire company or industry.

These companies and industry have studied and developed these policies and reinsurances over the centuries to handle the risks which occur across so many diversities in a country this size. They have continually changed and improved their policies and services to meet a dynamic market throughout the country. The only thing standing in their way from creating even more aggressive and dynamic policies are the state and federal gummits which regulate them into things they would not do economically. These states pass laws forcing them to issue policies people do not want and force them to issue them without accurate underwriting which is the foundation of the industry.

The public sector has none of the barometers or expertise the private market requires. Obamacare had a bunch of Harvard eggheads write a utopian dream and turned a version of their beloved Nationalized Healthcare to the DNC and asked them to pass it. These overeducated idiots believe they are smarter than the market due to their Marxist brainwashing. They have believed the Ivy League drivel for so long and pushed their agenda in lockstep fashion without questioning the logic of their agenda. Since they all agree and have no opposition due to academic purging of dissidents there is no freedom of ideas let alone using a profit margin indicator of positive ideas. These academics believe everyone else will work for the common good while they pull down high six figure salaries.

Just like Global Warming and Evolution, these professors all agree as do the socialists in the DNC it would work so they passed a law to promote their agenda. The problem is, a couple hundred agenda driven pols are never going to match the combined intelligence of thousands of insurance experts. It never was a competition as to which one was going to provide the best coverage, but they used their clichés and media dragoons to brainwash America into believing they could somehow rewrite the insurance industry. Like the freak show barkers on the midway they model themselves after, the Mainstream Marxist Media promoted this hoax like the dutiful dunces they have always been. The American people are the victims of this alliance from Hades and in two weeks are about to enter an uninsured disaster.

There are so many details that go into an insurance policy there is no possible way an inefficient behemoth like the federal gummit could recreate it, let alone improve on it. There is no profit incentive to force these bureaucrats to work extra hours or streamline a procedure. Just like the website boondoggle, they are far more interested in graft and corruption than they are in actually providing affordable healthcare. So they punch the clock in their overpaid jobs knowing there is no accountability pretending to care about what they are doing and when it fails it fails. This is what the American taxpayer is paying for and with Obamacare, they are seeing and about to feel the failure of gummit. Now, for the next two years or longer we are going to suffer the effects of a small group of Marxists who believed their economic dinosaur could replace hundreds of years of financial fine tuning with a fraud and and a shoddily written law. In two weeks we enter into an economic nightmare called Obamacare and his lies will not turn this one into a milkshake.

Pray America is Waking

Great message Bray. I agree with you. But the earth abides, and we, the people, shall overcome and prevail over this dark chapter in our nation’s history.

Singing at 10 am mass this morning. Will return later. Thank you AB for doing this thread.

Precious darling granddaughter in Christmas play last night, was Elizabeth, mother of John the Baptist, AND the Magi who carried the myrrh.

She was so good my knees buckled with happiness. The audience gave her standing ovation.

Wonder where she gets that ham in her from?

Local funeral home had ceremony in memory of Mandela.

I volunteered to be the sign language interpreter.

When is the DNC going to apologize to the American people for destroying the finest insurance industry the world has ever seen?

Finest insurance industry the world has ever seen? The healthcare insurance industry went all-in on Obamacare. They loved the idea of forcing people to buy their product and reducing the number of plans available. For them, it was shooting fish in a barrel. And the government guaranteed that they would suffer no losses thru "risk corridors."

I have no sympathy for the healthcare insurance industry. They spent tens of millions on propaganda supporting Obamacare. They sent contributions to the Obama election campaign. They are enablers who deserve everything they get. They are part of the crony capitalism that is destroying the country. With government (federal, state, and local) controlling over 40% of the GDP, is it any wonder that corporate America looks to government to determine winners and losers?

And the corporate elites have a symbiotic relationship with government. They get the contracts and in exchange, they provide the money to the political class. He who pays the piper, calls the tune.

The DNC is not destroying the insurance industry, the insurance industry is destroying the insurance industry. It has become politicized.

Great piece as usual. My biggest worry so far is that "0" care will become a forgotten memory nine or ten months from now when it really counts.

I fear we are being played again.

While all demoncrat numbers are down with the regime and zero care hitting a new low the sad thing is they only have one place to go and that's up.

Enter amnesty. Which boner has already said he will take up in the House. Sort of a self destruct measure for rinos, if he does will amnesty suck out all the oxygen for the 2014 elections if the dems time it right? If so we may have to kiss the Senate good bye..............

.........................................

I just watched the "bi-partisan meet" on MTP with dnc Dave. The mere thought of Paul Ryan giving in to Patty Murray yet another avowed socialist,is most disgusting.

Political strategy plays into this one as well. If Ryan does not make nice and become bi-partisan and let the dems off the no meeting with us hook/debacle they have had he looks bad. He will suffer in the partisan press and if he does let them off the hook we always lose like the 60 vote requirement for tax increases and all the good the sequester was doing.

He probably had to do it. He was sufficiently boxed in by the axelrod/DNC strategists. We lost the political strategy game once again.

is this the first time the dems have boxed us into a no win corner? Hell No and won't be the last.

Its all political strategy and we constantly lose.

Congress double-crosses military retirees

"In fact, the Ryan-Murray deal, which raises the spending caps imposed under sequestration while reducing the amount military retirees receive, amounts to a bailout of the defense industry on the backs of veterans. With its budget cuts, sequestration and government shutdown, this year has been more trying for military families than the worst of the war years. I'm afraid that after all that my community has given in time, tears and lives, the country we served might be trying to skip out on the check."

Rebekah Sanderlin (an Army wife, Military Spouse of the Year finalist, and a writer who focuses on military issues. She, her husband and their three children are stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. She is an advisory board member of the Military Family Advisory Network)

Alas, I have read numerous media stories and accounts of how this "deal" that betrays current military serving in uniform and retired military. By almost all counts, the chief architect who insisted on screwing the soldier, sailor, and airman was Paul "Benedict Arnold" Ryan.

From all that I have gathered, it is obvious that he has contempt for "working age" retired military.

Shame on him, the back stabbing GOP, and all who voted for this travesty.
