1. Democrat Party run (for decades) cities = crime ridden, no-hope communities. Though as certain as day follows night, crime and ignorance are blamed on economics. So the urgent call goes out for those "fortunate winners of life's lottery" to pay out more in taxes to "vulnerables," which results in more vulnerables, with the assurance that they will stay on the Democrat Party plantation and keeping race-baiting liberals in power.

2. Fatherless households = crime ridden communities. And of course this comes full circle back to liberal, progressive, state thinking that government is your daddy.

The two worst neighborhoods in Chicago account for about 90% of Chicago's murder rate. Those neighborhoods are the Austin (near West Side) and Gresham (near South side.)

My commuter train passes through Gresham. It looks like a war zone. I imagine Beirut probably looks better. I mean it's a complete crap-hole and I shake my head wondering how people can live that way.

West Garfield Park ( less than 2 square miles ) was overwhelmingly white in 1960, less so in 1970.

In 1960 WGP was approx. 83% white & 15% black.
In 1970 WGP was approx. 65% white & 33% black.
In 1980 WGP dramatic shift - 75% black, whites running away

Open housing laws of the 70’s caused WGP to go instantly black.
