Some scholars estimate that the combined death toll of Stalin's rule of the Soviet Union between 1928 and 1953 and Mao's rule of China between 1949 and 1976 may approach 150 million. That's what you get from unfettered use of mass shootings, deliberate famine, labor camps and forced exile. The Nazis only claimed 10 million victims because World War II cut short their genocidal rampage.
