P.P.S. The decision to switch away from R12 (due to the alleged Ozone hole) was probably a bad technical decision. But it has been a done deal now since 1992. Now they want to switch away from R134a to R1234y (to help stop ‘(Al)Globull Warming’. The ban is starting to impact new cars now. But until (we) starting winning elections, this nonsense is not going to stop.
