China landed an unmanned spacecraft on the moon on Saturday, state media reported, in the first such "soft-landing" since 1976, joining the United States and the former Soviet Union in managing to accomplish such a feat.
The Chang'e 3, a probe named after a lunar goddess in traditional Chinese mythology, is carrying the solar-powered Yutu, or Jade Rabbit buggy, which will dig and conduct geological surveys.

I've always contended that China's entry into its manned space program was just so it could deliver Chinese food to the space station.
No matter what, this is another aspect of American supremacy and leadership lost thanks to that doggone Kenyan dog-eater.

Remember when China couldn’t get a rocket off the launch pad. Then Slick Willie gave them all our technology through a company called Loral for campaign cash. Yeah, those were the good old days, when they only sold us out for cash. Now Obummer does it out of spite.

To think that the US soft landed moon probes in the mid 1960s and had a manned lunar landing in 1969 yet after the early 1970s never went back to the moon. Imagine where we would be today if NASA had continued with the Apollo program and beyond. The Chinese lunar rover would be greeted by US astronauts from a permanent lunar base and we would be preparing for our second and third Mars landing.
That was quite witty, amusing if not ironic, sad, bittersweet
and last but not least absolute blood-curdling in anger and invective towards the Chief Muslim Afro-Not.
