I think Al Bundy said something along the line of, “Don’t try to understand women. Women understand women and, by and large, they can’t stand each other.”
There's a lot to that quote.
If you read a book called "Odd Girl Out" by Rachel Simmons with a recognition she's trying to explore the problem of "girl bullying" without ever admitting it's intrinsically female nature, you'll get a long way toward understanding what's going on when a woman disagrees with you.
