"What the president had to say in tribute to Africas greatest statesman was largely overshadowed by..." Obama gave a speech relating himself to Mandela ...nothing more.

Behaving with reserve and dignity is THE easiest form of human conduct to ape... all you have to do is ‘nothing’.
“O” cannot even perform THIS very least of the demands on his apparently limited abilities while President of the US.
“O” is worse than worthless as a person and certainly as a ‘leader’.

“...relating himself to Mandela ...”
“O” is like Mandela in only TWO ways:
Both of them are Black
NEITHER of them is an American

Forget the selfie, I want to know why the “rent-is-too-damn-high” guy is sitting right in front of Barry.

It may have been Obama's selfie, but David Cameron photobombed it.

I thought that was Grady from Sanford and Son. Of course, I may have assumed that because Aunt Esther was sitting to Obama’s left. :=)

He’s probably relieved — this will be one night when he won’t have to make excuses for not being able to mount the old worn-out saddle.

...Nelson Mandela learned the same lesson in an almost unbelievable twenty-seven year captivity, much of it on Robben Island.... Nelson Mandelas long imprisonment taught him restraint and cloaked him with the dignity and spiritual strength of a martyr.... ... I guess Mr. Mandela's "unbelievable twenty-seven year captivity" is unbelievable because he should have gotten the death penalty for his actions... "Spiritual strength of a martyr???" ... Please ... I guess I'm off to the Vomitorium ...

But they are seen yucking it up like teenagers while First Lady Michelle Obama sits up attentively, the perfect picture of dignity and respect. And keeping her distance from the antics.
She looked more like a Pit Bull ready to strike to me.
