Quinn and Rose are off the air, (temporarily, I hope!) Gone, but DEFINITELY not forgotten! Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have! So grab your coffee - or whatever you choose to start your day - and drop in for some political chit-chat, or just to shoot the breeze! We are all coming from - or going to - work, but we all stop in to say ‘hi!’ Feel free to join us!
Yeah, she just looked at me....a few bruises and scratches. She’s going to work but the kids will check on me and I’ll call her when I get up in a couple of hours.
She just informed me were getting a new washing machine tonight so I have to be ok for that. Not sure where she’s getting it but I think it’s from one of her friends who bought it two years ago but it doesn’t
Fit in their remodeled laundry.
Oh these mornings without Q&R are torture!!! No one I have listened to comes close. They need to be a national morning show. If they go satellite I’m getting one just for them.

Si with his franken scents had me laughing so hard I had tears! His delivery is so straight! Did anyone see the next season sneak preview? It was on this morning but there was no way I could watch at work when it was on.

KM take LS advice & watch a few DDs on line. I would guess the 1st one (explaining who they all are) would be there; the Christmas one is a classic. Their interactions (they are naturally funny) are priceless.
We’ve talked about getting rid of cable...but hold onto it for Root sports Pirate&Penguin games. Don’t know what PaDad will do when we eventually have to unplug :-/

The first one is some kind of grill off between Jase and Willie; and the other storyline is Miss Kay having a slumber party w/two of the granddaughters. It looks like fun (Si was moderating the cook off).
Duck Commander must be thru the roof sales wise...the show is brilliant advertising :)
Maybe I will look into DD....at least the Christmas show as per yours and Ladysmith’s recommendations. I will also pray for p6, Dolly and PYE as well! I agree that the noggin’ aint nothing to fool with.
I wonder what Quinn would have had to say about the most recent plane crash....
does anyone know whether quinn (and rose) were blacklisted by the fascists who have seized control of the nation, fcc, etc?
seemed they had a nationwide audience / following. very suspicious.
if i may an unsolicited recommendation...i’ve been listening to the wmal in DC by stream for years, used to switch it over after quinn and rose. starting at 9:00am eastern, the lineup is chris plante from 9-12, rush 12-3, hannity 3-6, levin 6-9.
chris plante has a great sense of humor (like quinn)...anyone for me it helps fill some of the void lost by the empty slot from 6-9.
i extremely suspicious that quinn (and rose) have been blacklisted, victims of our increasingly fascist gov’t / fcc. anyone know better?
I listen to Christ Plante as well. He’s excellent. Usually, I download the podcasts. I’ve often thought that he would have made a great fill-in for Quinn and vice/versa.
Also, another alternative for the 8-10 slot is Michael Berry in KTRH in Houston Texas. You want outspoken, politically UN-correct and opinionated? He’s all that. Don’t know how the time difference works out for us east-coasters. I download his podcasts too. He also has a show on from 5-7 in the evening, same station.
i’ll have to give michael berry a try, may have heard him once or twice before while trying to fill the void.
any word from quinn or rose, have they been muzzled by contract?
i just can’t imagine where another station owner snatch em up to capture their audience
i can think of several nationally syndicated radio personalities that i wouldn’t miss for a second, conversely I looked forward to listening to quinn every morning.

They did not have a nationwide audience, mainly because Clear Channel seemed amazingly half-hearted about building and maintaining an affiliate network for them.
Since they became syndicated they had lost Akron, Columbus, Wheeling (a 50,000 watt signal), Lexington, Huntsville, Allentown and Johnstown (John Murtha allegedly had a hand in that one)
Aside from Pittsburgh and Rochester they were left with a handful of really small markets.
My guess is they got scared when Quinn would not back-down on criticizing Muslims and they decided to isolate him on one-kilowatt AM stations out in the sticks.
What better options did they have for a morning show on their talk stations? Bill Bennett? WSJ Report? Bloomdaddy? Doug Stephan?
Rose will be guest-hosting for Hannity on the 30th. But I don’t expect her to say much. Badmouthing or criticizing your former employer is only going to make the people you are trying to negotiate with reluctant to hire you. As will spilling any of the “inside story”, etc.

I hear ya! Everything hurts especially this time of year!
If I ask you all, can you pray for strength for me and healing for our mom? She’s got dementia badly and I’m going to go see her with my sister. It got severe really fast - I’m already a wreck and really, REALLY need God’s strength today to deal with it.
Prayers are up! Lord we pray. Send you healing love and embrace this mother and her family. Give them guidance, strength and courage in their time of troubles.
We ask this in Jesus name.

I second that “AMEN” prisoner6. My mom did not have dementia - at least not in the traditional sense, but she had a form of it caused by senior epilepsy. Dementia is a horrible horrible disease.
Prayers, Ladysmith for you, your siblings and your mom. May God grant you strength. It’s very hard to see your mom like that, I know. Just remember that she did not choose to suffer from this. Just be with her and love her.
