I was told that my old plan was non compliant and would be canceled. I was offered two choices that would fix it, all much more expensive. I picked one, and the Dr explained some new rules that makes everything more expensive, plus there are new restrictions on which hospitals I might use.

In the process of all this I looked at the kaiser foundation’s online estimator for Obamacare plans, and I was thrilled to see that for someone my age, at my income level, the annual premium would be only $17,000 with a deductible of only a few thousand!

I had a policy I could afford that allowed me to see the doctor of my choice and go to the hospitals I liked and now I am forced to buy a policy that costs more, has higher deductibles and doesn't allow me to keep my doctor or my choose my hospital. Gee I can't express how thrilled I am and even better I now get free birth control.

I am beginning to think this administration is like that in North Korea where despite wholesale famine and total repression officials always see the place as utopia.
