remember when there were a few fiscally conservative DEMOCRATS?

Now the entire responsibility of fiscal sanity falls on a minority of republicans...

Wait, what? the a rat dyke and the Bishop’s running mate took a president with 37% approval and tried to pull his nuts out of the fire? No! - they wouldn’t have done that - there must be some mistake -

look, we have our own freepers voting in rats left and right, so lets stop blaming the pubs for everything...

we could have voted in a decent man in Coleman in Minn....but now, some people had to vote third party and that got us Al Freakin....

and some of you just couldn't vote for a good guy in Virginia, but you could vote for the former rat shyster Sarvis, taking just enough votes away to give the rat the race...

and some of you voted for bammy, and some of you didn't vote, and some of you voted third obscure party...you gave us bammey boy...

we don't have a solid strong electorate because if we have freepers themselves selling us down the river, what are we to expect?

But what about the praise the 2 socialists were heaping on each other last night? Isn’t that supposed to make us all feel good?

FU PR, PM, BO & CONgress.

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.

Ditch Mitch in the General, if necessary.

Pure Republican't hackery.

In 13 years here, I have yet to hear of a Freeper who voted for a Demonicrat or failed to vote for an authentic conservative.

Face facts. The Republican'ts won't do a damned thing to put this country on the right track. They are satisfied to just run us toward ruination a little slower than the Demonicrats.

In today’s environment, I’ll give him some slack.

I know what you are saying though.

In retrospect, I think Stockman was righter than Reagan. I loved RR & still do. But we see now that even he did not shrink government. And he added to the deficit. That is understandable since he was winning the Cold War. But it is what it is.

Republicans will face intense pressure over unemployment benefits
BY GREG SARGENT
December 11 at 12:24 pm
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/plum-line/wp/2013/12/11/republicans-will-face-intense-pressure-over-unemployment-benefits/

[snip] The imminent expiration of the Emergency Unemployment Compensation program for 1.3 million Americans is mostly being treated as a fait accompli in Washington... (Dems have created an interactive map showing how many people in each state stand to lose benefits.)... This strategy includes placing Op ed pieces by Democrats in papers that serve the districts of top Republicans, such as this one by Rep. Sander Levin in the Cleveland Plain-Dealer, the largest paper in John Boehner’s home state. The game plan is granular: One Democrat points out to me that stats are available on how many would lose benefits on the county level, and that Dems are trying to push these numbers into the coverage, because it is tangible for people in local communities. [/snip]
