The budget agreement announced yesterday increases spending, raises taxes, and funds Obamacare for two years. It has the support of President Obama, Harry Reid, and countless Democrats in Washington.
What is Mitch McConnell doing to stop it? Nothing. In fact, McConnell was completely silent on the deal yesterday.
Mitch McConnell may vote against the deal so he can pretend to be a conservative, but don't be fooled. He wants the deal to pass. He made it clear that he won't fight the Democrats on spending and he forced his party to surrender.
It's so disappointing because now is the perfect time for Republicans to take a stand against Obamacare.

Never even fired a shot. Way to go, “opposition”.
Another total capitulation and all the “cuts” are complete frauds slated for a decade out. Meaning they will never ever happen.
McConnell won’t fight on spending or anything else.
That was near set in stone by the shutdown.
Good thing Dems didnt demand more.
Someone tell me what the Senate Conservatives promote. Do they want the government to shut down again?
I know it wasn’t a complete shutdown.
What do they propose?
The government is divided.
What is the proposal of the Senate Conservatives Fund for the real-life governance of the federal ship this year?
Obamacare is failing, as predicted.
Obama is failing, as predicted.
I would love to see Obamacare repealed. But I guess I am with Ron Johnson on this; we have to find another way to repeal it...outright execution of this disastrous law is not going to happen with a majority of Democrats in the Senate and the Clown in the Oval Office.
This is what happens when Corporate and Big-Money interests rule the GOP.
The focus is on pleasing the big-money campaign donors vs. We The People.
The longer that Obamacare is the law of the land, the more likely it is that it won't be repealed. At the very least, Republicans should not support funding it in any way, shape, manner or form.
Vote them all out.
You didnt want a shutdown?
House *Conservatives* didnt want a shutdown?
Then what was the mechanism for getting Reid and Obama to pass an Obamacare refund bill in the Senate and sign it? Obamacare stayed funded in the shutdown.
Those partial funding bills the House passed like for the troops, they didnt defund Obamacare andmore than the final CR did
A vote for Ryan’s budget is a vote to fund ObamaCare for another 2 years. Republicans should tell Boehner and Ryan to take this bill and shove it up their Obamaholes.
OPPPS
‘An Obamacare DEFUND bill’
Not refund bill
That was totally up to the Democrats.
If they had followed the plan offered by Senator Cruz, instead of chickening out, the Democrats would have folded eventually, if for no other reason that their constituents would have been screaming for them to do it.
They lacked the necessary courage to stay the course.
The Cruz plan was to fund everything except Obamacare, with no Government shutdown.
Put the blame where it belongs, not on conservatives trying, at one point, to do their constitutionally defined duty.
When the Democrats get everything they want in a divided government but we can’t get anything we want unless we control ALL the branches, you know our negotiators are failing us. If the public would rather have Obamacare and more of this budgetary theft by the left than deal with a shutdown, then let them vote Democrats into full power again. If the Democrat bills are going to be passed whether or not we win elections, then let them be passed solely in the Democrats’ names. We have to stand for something. Otherwise, when the country collapses, we’ll have to share the blame, instead of being able to say it was all the Democrats’ fault.
The Dems couldn’t be in a weaker position, with polls showing registered voters favor Republicans in the next election. Yet our party still totally capitulates despite having more leverage than they’ve had in years. This is a disgusting joke.
I hope they fund Obama care right thru the election next year. Then we gut it with a new majority.

Look, the time for the filibuster was when Ted Cruz alerted the nation in October. Now, it’s time for America to feel the pain, and I’m for it. Americans won’t be voting Democrat for 20 years after this fiasco.
I think if the Republicans have power they won’t do what conservatives want because they will focus group poll and be concerned about losing non-conservative votes by reversing Obmamacare.
They will amend it into Romneycare continuing the mandate to buy insurance in a lower cost market more friendly to medical insurance companies.
