Well, Richie, you're famous, whadya espekt?!
Being from NV, i am used to having very huge empty spaces with freedom to go and do whatever I want, though the steady stream of weekend warriors sick and tired of overly regulated and closed off in CA is causing areas that previously had no interesting names and colors on the map, to increasingly have boundaries drawn around them, with names, which attract ever more weekenders, who further despoil, prompting ever more closures, which causes people to move to nee previously unmarked areas to start the cycle again. The worst I have seen was the Mongollon Rim region of Arizona, that seemed to have signs prohibitting something or other every 50 feet. The black rock desert is getting that way with signs springing up like weeds, giving driving directions to previously unknown places, and directing people to where they are allowed or not allowed to camp....ugggh, soon campfire songs and s’mores will be banned
