They never seem to point out that mid terms are about the incumbent president—— not the congress overall. Congress could have an approval of 1 percent...doesn’t matter. A better gage would be the generic ballot.

All polls of this nature should divide the questions differently.

APPROVE - DISAPPROVE
1. OCCUPANT OF THE WHITE HOUSE
2. U.S. SENATE
3. U.S. HOUSE

A single vote on the Congress allows Dingy Harry Reid to serve as the tip of the legislative funnel and allow only legislation that HE approves of, to come to a vote.

Of the dozens of Budgets that were passed in the House over the last five years, none of been brought up for a vote in the Senate, except for the one proposed as Obama's Budget. It was defeated by a 97-0 vote!. Not one DEMOCRAP voted for it!
