As long as there are no tax increases, I guess I’m OK with it, as I don’t think a protracted battle and any talk of another shut down help the republicans at all.

I think if the dems can be forced to agree to no tax or “revenue” increases, it’s a win for us, because that is their holy grail.

I very reluctantly agree with you. We should all know that there were going to be no cuts. To do so would have compromised the 2014 elections in the eyes of the DC elite.
