The street is no place to challenge Police authority. They have a chain of command, which ultimately includes civilians (most importantly, you will not be shot while lodging complaints there).
No police administered @$$ whopping or shooting ever began with "Yes, sir" or "No, sir".
Pretty ignorant of history, logic, and the pathology of bullies with badges, ain't ya?
I Googled police beating "yes sir" and there is no shortage of stories.
