Colorado 6-year-old suspended for kissing a girl

A 6-year-old boy has been suspended from a Colorado school for kissing a girl on the cheek.

School officials in Canon City are accusing the boy of sexual harassment and they want it on his school record.

Years ago, when my grandaughter we are raising was about to enter kindergarten, I viewed the online public school policy manual, and found just such a clause: Any unwanted "advances" would be strictly prosecuted as "sexual harassment".

She has always been affectionate, given to hugging those she likes.

I called up the local Parochial school and asked if they had an opening. They did, and she went there instead. I have not regretted it.

I don’t know what it is with 6-yr. old boys but they seem to like to follow little girls home. It happened to me when I was a 6-yr. old girl. I was very bashful at that age and didn’t even speak to him. He would then turn back and go home. Finally, one day he followed me into my home and my mother gave him lunch. Then she called his mother and let her know where he was. I guess his mom read the riot act to him because he stopped following me.

(Or he didn’t like my mother’s cooking. LOL)

Whatever, the school is making a totally unnecessary fuss about it today.

A young child kissing a girl on the cheek is not sexual and has nothing to do with the "sexual revolution" of the 60's and 70's. It is a normal reaction to liking someone and the left needs to stamp out normal and/or twist it into something sick. The left detests normal and traditional as they are the moral anchors of society. America can't be destroyed until it's moral compass is broken. They're working on it.

According to the article, the girl did not object to being kissed; so the school’s definition of sexual harassment is wrong. The boy was suspended before for this (which is also kind of extreme), which makes it a behavior issue. This is more like a child talking or being out of his seat when he is not supposed to be. Discipline may have to escalate for repeated misbehavior but redefining sexual harassment trivializes real sexual misconduct.

Unreal. I dread seeing the “men” of the future. Males are being beaten into submission every day and taught that their very existence is not welcome.

Well, look at it another way. After a year or two of total social collapse, the female of the species will be reduced back to a powerless chattels and then a mere barterable commodity. As the social trend you decry does accelerate such collapse, it's a self-correcting cycle.
