Yes, that's how I think it went down. Though, some sources indicate that the attackers were in cahoots with Muslim Brotherhood. If it was a question of stopping weapons from reaching Al Q in Syria one would think the Hezbollah would be behind the attack. However, that is assuming that MidEast politics is linear and logical...far too many have found to their dismay that this is a very brave assumption indeed.

I suspect the reason/purpose the HofR is not pushing as hard as might be expected is that many in Congress and the courts are tainted to some degree and manner by known and perhaps even unknown dirty money, campaign or direct.

MILITARY.COM reported that US Pentagon officials declined to give specifics on conversations between DOD's Chuck Hagel and Egyptian Gen al-Sisi....WRT the post-Morsi Egyptian crisis.

Although the officials would not discuss the specifics of the military-to-military talks, the U.S. would need Gen al-Sisi's approval to move through Egyptian air space if Washington decided to send Marines to aid in the evacuation of U.S. personnel.

READY TO ROLL About 550 Marines and their tilt-rotor MV-22 Osprey aircraft are at bases in Spain and Italy on standby if they are needed. A Navy Amphibious Ready Group with 4,000 Marines and sailors aboard, led by the helicopter assault ship Kearsarge, was also in the region following completion of the Eager Lion training exercises in Jordan.

Yeah what if, that's a dumb question. The mission at Benghazi was, I believe, a hand picked operative in the guise of Ambassador, selling looted Libyan armaments to people who will continue to work toward the destruction of western civilization including America, nonetheless.

Nothing has been brought forward to suggest any question about it.

We know Obama’s done ‘back channel’ stuff with Iran and Cuba... and the stuff coming out of those encounters favors the enemy. So you might be right... Obama could have been working with a sworn enemy of the United States.

An honest investigation would likely reveal that the Benghazi betrayal was done to enable our enemies to succeed in capturing ambassador Stevens, either to trade him later for the Blind Sheik or to kill him outright in order to cover aka obama’s tracks in supplying weapons to our enemies in Syria or elsewhere. While the simple act of denying a rescue attempt might not by itself be treason, when coupled with the reason behind the denial, it most certainly is.

It's bigger. No way Obama, Clinton and Jarrett did what they did for a mere 'supplying weapons to our enemies' stint... Sorry, just not possible.
