RE “”Over thirty years ago, while still a student,” he said later in his address, “I learned of Mandela and the struggles in this land. It stirred something in me. It woke me up to my responsibilities—to others, and to myself—and set me on an improbable journey that finds me here today. And while I will always fall short of Madiba’s example, he makes me want to be better.”

Ted Cruz must have been brought to tears listening to this heart wrenching story from Obama in person.

Yea, right. How wonderful it must be to be so tightly wound up in your own little echo chamber. I suppose your view of Jesus going where the disciples told him not to go falls right into the same line. How foolish of him not to listen to sickoblibs. He should have known better.

I would be a bit more pragmatic and hear Ted’s take of his trip before passing your narrow minded assertions.
