SK authorities denies this story. For now. Speculation arose in Seoul over whether Jang set up a deadman's trigger. That is, in case something happens to him, his close associate will escape and reveal documents detailing deep state secrets on N. Korean regime.

It is a possibility that the impending purge of Jang contributed to his defection.

Ya think?

The source said, "He came out with key documents on N. Korea's nuclear (arms) development." The documents are said to contain information on N. Korea's nuclear facilities, nuclear materials in possession, and accounting books on slush funds managed by Jang Sung-taek and Kim Jong-eun.

Considering all, is China really the best place to run to?
