I’ve listened to Rush virtually every day for over twenty years. He’s my mentor and inspiration. I hope he remains that way for the next twenty years. I also hope he and/or someone on his staff reads this....and I’m sure they do.

You know, before your post, I have been thinking almost the same thing. I used to listen to every minute...now I don’t care if I miss most of the show. I tune in and hear crap about sports or polls or sexist stuff and I automatically tune out. I noticed that when he has Mark Steyn on, that I really try to make sure I’m listening because Steyn is all meat and potatoes...and he’s very funny. Rush has been doing alot of unimportant fluff for quite a while now...I think I listen more now from just loyalty.
But I, too, am a loyal afficionada....twenty-plus years proves it....and every day I tune in hoping for the best.
He was a much better today, lots of passion, quite a few up-to-the-minute things like the new budget, and the return of Panetta the Enforcer.....and the selfies....however, still a lot of repetition and lack of analysis on Obama's thrusts in every direction, including all his latest scary appointments.
Maybe Rush has read some of our moaning and whining on these threads the past few days and is trying to rekindle some of the incisiveness and cutting edge (is that redundant?) that marked his programs of yore.
