Without our idiotic anti-discrimination laws, and our idiotic labor laws crap like this would never happen. 50 years ago someone wanting to put up a satanic statue anywhere public would be fired from his job, refused service in his community, and generally shunned until he stopped his behavior. Now every one of those remedies is legally actionable.
I read a lot of the comments following the article. I was shocked at how many people seem to prefer satan over God.
