Ha, I just had lunch at the Applebee’s in Highland Village. Roads are slushy and passable. I walk with Yaktracks on my boots, like little tire chains on your car, but on your boots. Picked them up at Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine yesterday.
Just up the road from me. I’m off of Cross Timbers and been house-bound until late yesterday as the ice was covering everything and no one in my neighborhood ventured out until late yesterday.
Good you got out and about and I think I will take a trip to Bass and see about those shoes. . .a little late for now but heck, with all that Global Warming going on and freezing things, might find use for them soon.
