The Talk Shows
December 8th, 2013
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky.; Pik Botha, a former South African foreign minister.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Jesse Jackson; Charles Ogletree, a law professor at Harvard University.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Former Secretary of State James Baker; Randall Robinson, who led the anti-apartheid group TransAfrica; poet Maya Angelou.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Sens. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and Rob Portman, R-Ohio.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Reps. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, and Adam Schiff, D-Calif.
No, my FRiend, the truth should not be pulled!
Fareed Zakaria GPS(CNN): Former National Security Adviser Tom Donilon, Former Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan
Donilin discussed Iran, the part when Donolin said ‘I think’, as he went through a list of “rollbacks” that are going to have to happen.
Greenspan on the Federal Reserve, here we go, paraphrased, ‘Janet Yellen will be facing a problem never before seen’. [Democrat controlled Economy]
Greenspan danced around the lack of growth in the private sector with observations such as businesses are making all this profit but aren’t finding other places to invest it.[Neither host or guest used the term “Private Sector”...]
Greenspan also talked about business conditions are near impossible.
And the host as well as Greenspan dance around talking about improvement in the private sector with observations such as after talking about the growth in GDP Greenspan said basically it’s all in the book keeping. And when or if the Fed QE3 stimulus goes away, so may the growth.
Greenspan also mentions Banks still aren’t lending money[$85 billion dollars a month later...Shazaam! No one is looking to risk a loan]
[I proofread this once, breakfast awaits me. Good-morning to everyone here!]
I loved that Neal Boortz response when someone insisted they call him an “african american”..he would ask,”What part of africa are you from? what country?”
total silence.
Thanks for thread A.B. Looks like your Aurburn will play for the marbles after all.
Amazing! I still can’t believe it after last year’s season. Like the Red Sox winning the Pennant and the Series after being in the bottom the year before. Is this the year for that kind of team???
Still, sad for Alabama. I still like to see the Tide Roll!
It least we can, if we win, keep Trophy in the state...
It’s a plenty big if against them ‘Noles!
Exactly, thats how it works.
Good morning AB, All.
As always AB, thank you for doing this thread.
Two things.....just got back from choir so am a bit late...first...I am very angry with the pope.
Second, yesterday my granddaughter had a birthday party AND NOBODY CAME!!
It was just the saddest thing....I sobbed with her in heartbreak.
But it got better...in a fashion.
More later....
The only saving grace is that Communism needs Capitalism to pay the way. Sooner or later the capitalists always revolt.Ever heard of the Tea Party?
Yeah true, its a delicate path to wander. Getting pubbies elceted while waging a war on rinos. But if we keep it together its doable.
Like I said I don’t like chicken thatttt much.
Exactly! Its not too surprising that no one on any of the shows I watched dared to make a comparison of 0zero and Mandella. Two different commies for sure.
You can see the utter madness in Emmanuel’s eyes! He even spits like Bwaney Fwank this deranged idiot is to implement Zerocare?! Paging Dr. Mengele..
Been thinking of that in terms of "Urban Culture", which really seems like poor folks who mostly thrive on Government programs.

If you look at the NCAA season as one in which the playoffs begin in mid-Nov or thereabout, Auburn is THAT TEAM, the so-called lesser light that gets on a roll (pardon the expression)and just keeps laying waste to the elites and the point spreads along the way.
Is FSU way better than them on paper? Oh yeah. But will it matter?
I dunno. We’re in a period where the junkyard dog has a tendency to win. (Personally, I like to think of the conservative/Tea Party movement as the junkyard dog in the room.)
Um...Roll War Eagle.
(And run, Sarah, run.)
I’d guess FOX NEWS SUNDAY Mr Wallace missed Justice with Judge Jeanine on Fox News Channel last nite, the guest is faced with cancer and not getting treated because she lost her insurance due to the Affordable Health Care act, and now she can’t get therapy or insurance try as she may. I’d call that less fortunate, here’s the link for you, Mr Wallace...

Such a shame white guys are stereo typed like that, I know many white guys are never appreciated for manners and respect for others.
How soon before we start shooting our TV’s for the Nelson Mandela lovefest?
This is the Lamestream media’s wet dream. Last night 20/20 had a one hour thing praising and praying....
....but okay, Mandela had his issues but he was a Communist, let us not forget.
Here’s my prediction for next week yon ladies and gems, It will be all Obama and his comparison to Mandela.
Already the White Hut has sent out snippets....”suggesting” the wussies use it as a sight/sound clip.
THIS IS HIS CHANCE!
The night oil burns. Deep in the night Valerie and Michelle sit and talk how to play it up. Already they’ve released some pic of Obama in Mandela’s jail cell.
Look for stories on how Obama read everything he could about Nelson Mandela. Or watch for tales about Obama’s “Mandela” moments, actions he took for his admiration of the man.
Oh.....and of course there will be the speech during the ceremony.
In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost can you imagine the tome he’s going to speak?
As for the granddaughter....it’s different down here. Daughter and son-in-law kinda getting it. First she missed Halloween in a sense because....no one goes trick or treating in Sussex county! They got some thing set up down by the outlets but it’s a sem-rural area.
So too there is no Chuck E. Cheese on every corner and you don’t blast out a mass email to everyone in your class with date, time and birthday child gift preferences.
So Monday daughter sends out invite. She NEVER had a birthday party for Kaitlyn in her home. She was a wreck. Went out and bought a piñata, pin the tail....all games. Plan hot dogs and hamburgers. Birthday cake in Ravens theme....go on.
TWO kids RSVP’d from invites that KAITLYN handed out in school on the bus. All week Kaitlyn begging Mom...”can I invite Joey....or whoever”. Daughter gave directions; Kaitlyn said she saw two people walking up to the house across the street but this was Kaitlyn, who was getting to realize that no one was at her bday party and it was now fifteen minutes past starting time.
She has two kids who live behind her and they all play together. Daughter says Madison and Mason can’t come to five pm but Kaitlyn telling me...oh no....Mom’s mistaken, Madison will be here at 1pm.
So here’s Kaitlyn all expecting at least four kids and dreaming of pin the tails. Finally she looked at her Mom and broke down. “Mom, nobody’s coming to my party!”
Well I cried just as hard. Man, to watch someone you love so much suffer what I think was Kaitlyn’s first broken heart....man it tore me up.
So her other grandmother arrived...SHE was an hour late those people have no respect for time. We have a little party, sing....course her grandmothers give the best gifts anyway so Kaitlyn adopted a brave face.
Then come five pm the two children from behind DID come romping over and Kaitlyn had an hour and a half of the best fun. They played piñata, pin the tail.....off of this while I was home in my house and reading of it on Facebook.
Sussex county Delaware.....lower and slower.
Gotta get used to it.
For a while there I was scared my daughter was going to tell me they were moving back to the city.
For if anyone’s “suffered” (or “enjoyed”) this move from city to countryside....it’s Kaitlyn. Every day her mother used to personally drive her to school. Now Kaitlyn rides a school bus beginning at 6:35 am and lasting an hour...just to go five miles to Georgetown. Same way back home....an hour school bus ride.
SHE LOVES IT!
She loves her school bus driver, she loves the country/western music the driver plays (but of course-daughter tells me we have no decent radio stations though we have no one but TWO all political talk radio stations...how many people can say that?)...she loves her school which consists of 50% Hispanic.
Oh....heh.
She loves that I am interviewing her teacher’s father and, indeed, loves having her Mom Mom in all the newspapers and on TV.
She goes to church with me and she is both Saint Elizabeth and a Magi in the upcoming church play (where I, in the choir, will sing)...her whole family is coming to this thing...NEXT SATURDAY if you’re in the neighborhood.
But it ain’t the city and hey.....they’re getting used to it.
Lower and slower......
Morning Cousin Mike,
Nothing but an Obama lovefest using Mandela as backdrop....all next week.
Get ready.
