Many Democrats up for re-election next year have to find some way to defend their past support for ObamaCare. A new campaign spot for Democratic Sen. Kay Hagan of North Carolina hints at how some candidates might try to pull this off.

The goal here seems to be to defend the law's more popular provisions without ever using the words "ObamaCare" or "Affordable Care Act." "The ad focuses on stressing Hagan's support of aspects of ObamaCarewithout once mentioning the law by name," explains the Hill newspaper. Don't be surprised if other Democratic candidates, particularly in red states that President Obama lost last year, employ a similar midterm election strategy in 2014. ObamaCare is more unpopular than ever, and support continues to fall.

As an elected official representing North Carolina, its important that I have the same health care experience and plan options as North Carolinians, which is why I am signing up for health care through the North Carolina exchange, Hagan said by email on Monday.
She better do it quick so when she gets steamrolled in the primary she’ll be covered
Does anybody really believe that a Congressperson will get the same quality of health care even if they buy obamao care?
She will get preferential treatment even if she has to pay for it herself, which is unlikely in my opinion.
In plain english, I'm going to try to sign up, knowing that I probably won't get through and I’ll have the same plan options, but won't use them.
It’s hard to believe there are Democratic contributors foolish enough to pay for ads trying to distance Kay Hagan from ObamaCare, when the minute her Republican opponent is chosen he/she will begin spending money to cover North Carolina with ads declaring the truth — that Sen. Hagan not only voted for ObamaCare but also lied that her constituents could keep their doctors and insurance if they chose to, with quotes and tapes to prove it.
DON’T LET AMERICA FORGET WHO DID THIS! Voters have incredibly short memories. It is up to every Conservative to continue to expose every Congress Creature that ever supported Obamacare. If we relent, it will only get worse.

Republicans will bring Democrats to their knees w/ one line: "Obamacre is an unmitigated disaster wholly owned by Democrats---it is the only socially transformational legislation in modern American history to be enacted on a straight party-line vote.
