An absolutely horrible commute on the way in this morning - traffic backed up everywhere - 2 hours. Smooth commute coming home - left early for a doctor's appointment.

We were in the 60's when I left the castle this morning - in the 40's when I returned. The ice, sleet and slop that has bedeviled the Heartland is on its way here.
