Im surprised that there arent a lot of highest resolution images of snowflakes taken by a bit more state of the art cameras. posted on the web, but I will take what I can get.

Well I guess the way water molecules freeze is all the same, but i would guess other variables come into play like the exact temperature when it freezes, wind current and rate of fall, gravity so to get identical ones all those variables would have to perfectly match so yes that statement “No 2 are alike” is probably untrue but I always hear that cliche “no two snowflakes are alike”. I would say the same goes for people as well! About 7 years ago in New York city I was waiting at a stop light and this guy was walking in front of my car who looked EXACTLY like my brother. I mean absolutely spot on, so much so that I called out to him and he looked at me confused and walked away and it ticked me off. So I called him on my cellphone and he was home the whole time! Then about 30 years ago I was waiting for a train and saw a guy who looked exactly like me! And this in areas where I lived. How many people live in this world? 7 billion? So at any time there are probably a bunch of people walking around this world who look exactly like me or you.

Oh, I do, and more importantly, I know WHY I do, because my Creator and Lord made it and made me to glorify Him by recognizing his hand in its beauty.
Now _why_ do YOU think it’s beautiful?
Too many times we just blow that off with “it just is”.
I’ve gone down this line with libs before, about why they feel something is right or wrong. They either go to “it just is” or try to find some basis in consensus (which itself is baseless, changeable, and arbitrary).
The point is, with this line of discussion, is to show that your standard is God or you have no standard.
It’s beautiful due to the shape and color, the intriquite designs, and how each one is unique.
