Now they'll all come out to protect him, so he doesn't end up like Dick Lugar and Bob Bennett.

Cochran's either selfish or was talked into running again.

McDaniel for Senate!!

Here’s what we have been hearing on the radio in print.
I just heard it during Rush’s first news break.

Thad “Poster Boy for Democrat Collaboration” needs to be removed from office, defeated in the Primary, or simply retire.

We don’t need these types of traitors in our midst.

This might be good in that a crowded primary field with a number of conservatives could have allowed a less conservative candidate to squeak through. As it is it will be an up or down vote.

OK folks, remember that talk is cheap. In addition to talking up McDaniel we also need to support his primary campaign in any way possible.

....he’ll have the support of the GOP establishment.

That should be reason enough, right there, for any Conservative Mississippian to vote against Thad dude.

Cochran’s gets two thirds of his money from PAC contributions, mostly Agribusiness, followed by lawyers & lobbyists. He’s a player...

Obama, Pelosi, and Reed need to come to the State and campaign for him as he is one of theirs.

Primary qualifying is from Jan. 1 - Mar. 1, 2014. In less than three months
we’ll know who is in and who is out.

Probably talked into it. The only questions is who profits from his staying? Who is making money because he remains in office, and, then of course, McConnell, who needs to stay as Leader.

My guess is Cochran will run, win and sometime after the 2014 elections retire and let Gov. Bryant appoint a republican senator.
They are afraid if Cochran retires or loses in a primary then Jim Hood the Atty. Gen will run and be strong competition.
McDaniel would be the best guy for the job but this is just the way I see things happening.
