What is it going to take for the people of this nation to rise up in revolt. Oh, never mind; I know. It's going to take the 47% who are on the dole and pay no taxes to lose their freebies. But, that's not gonna happen. And, apparently not one of our Conservative leaders in this nation, who have the wherewithal to do so, are willing to rise up and call the people to arms. A recent poster had this quote from Thomas Jefferson:

“When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty.” Where are the Thomas Jeffersons when you need them?

OK, go ahead FReeper friends. Tell me I'm being naive and unrealistic and we can only do this at the ballot box, etc., etc., etc., and newbie here needs to just shut up and quit being so radical. Go ahead; I'll take my licks.

Ever since the early 1970s, and their takeover of the Democrat party, “radicals” have insisted on calling themselves “activists”.

Their sole argument for this is that, now that they control the Democrat party, their radicalism has become legitimate. They no longer have to “overthrow the system” to force their radical ideas on others. They *are* the system, so they just need to force their radical ideas through the system, and it will be the system that forces their ideas on others.

I'm afraid we've gone past the inflection point and are now over the magic 50% being on the dole. We're now in an economic gravity well from which we'll never escape. We're going full-Detroit. Economic meltdown. Bankruptcy.

The cleanest, quickest way out of this morass is to secede form the USA. Texas should lead they way. In the meantime the many states should start forming infantry divisions just to show FedGov™ who means business.

You are right, the system is broken.

The democrat party broke it, and the GOP hasn't the courage to fix it.

Au contrair.

Congress should sidestep this unconstitutional bastard, impeach him and throw his sorry butt in prison, along with those who advise, support and encourage him.

Looks like a good reason for armed revolution if he does!

There is no doubt that as Obama is steadily weakened by the ObamaCare Boondogle, he will go Rogue, acting Independently outside the Constitution, weilding power to effect Policy and Intimidate Opposition.

In other words he will go Blatantly Lawless.

Obama will welcome Impeachment Proceedings and and Legal Battles involving Constitutional Authority. They will be framed as personal attacks against him, while changing the subject from ObamaCare.

Because of his increasingly Lawless Actions, There will be Impeachment Proceedings, but Obama will remain in office to the end of his term, due to lack will by Congress.

Chaos and Crisis are his calling cards. There is nothing standing in his way and no one to restrain him. His next move will be acting unilaterally on a host of issues that reinforce his base, while promoting his Utopian Marxist Agenda.

Things are going to get much much worse very quickly. A Sweeping Tidal Wave of Government Regulation and edicts, combined with a Constitutional Crisis and Impeachment Proceedings.

Won’t they whine and cry when a Republican President abuses his power.

We can just say “OUR TURN!”

These people have no idea what they are asking for. They won’t like it in the end.
