“I was an alter boy back in the early 70’s at a Chapel on Port Hueneme Sea Bee base in California. “
Really? They “altered” young boys into girls back then? I don’t remember any such operations being done on children. Or I suppose you must have been a girl “altered” into a boy as most places didn’t have female servers then. [Yes, damn it. Spelling DOES matter. It keeps people from laughing, for one thing.]

(...geez, this all seems so straight forward and logical to me...)

Sorry if I inadvertently typed in my post words that obviously touched something deep in your past that badly affected you.
Was that a hospital accident at birth or later on by choice? For whatever it was I am so sorry for you... it must be hell to go though life like that.. unless of course it was by choice. In which case I am sorry for that too.
So, no I was not altered to a female, and I assure you that I enjoy memories of dozens of females who can attest that I was not an "altered boy" in the way you mean. Or the way you fantasize I might have been. Sorry to ruin your dreams, I am not part of your club. Luckily I have great memories of an unaltered youth as a normal male. Sorry you missed yours.
What I meant to say, if I didn't, was that I was an alter boy at a catholic church on Port Huneme in California. It was a normal part of growing up as a catholic boy and I enjoyed that stage of my life.
Again my condolences that you were unable to enjoy that experience as a male catholic boy. I am sure your are fine however you are be it male or female.

So after I typed my reply thinking you were a male I was replying to, I looked at your profile and saw we enjoy many of the same things. Oh that I did not know you when I was at a earlier station of life was obviously one of those things I did missed out on. We probably would have been great friends.
My first crush was on this black (African American?) girl in kinder garden in San Diego and my Mom chuckled when I brought home her home for a play date(?). So did her mom! But she liked my clay brontosaurus I made in class and was soo pretty! :-)
And to what I said, and it must have been great for you growing up in Gods assigned role for you! Hope his selection for you was as good as it was for me. I loved growing up, (never) and learning all there was at each step.
I have a great daughter who is now in her 30's and is just leaving the Navy where she is/was a Naval Reserve officer (combat aegis and weapons). She got in to NROTC program and now has a masters and finishing up her second and on the way to a doctorate. (Psycology) Back in High School she was selected by a history teacher there as the most conservative (politically) student in the school.
Sorry I drag on to much and got in to history of me. If you want we can chat more some other time. Freep mail me if you want.
Anyway seeing your profile did bring a new perspective at your post to me. Your humor seems as dry as mine and I appreciate from that perspective reading your post again.

Oh, and did I really say that I was an "altered boy"? Although I did not read it but can believe I may have messed up the posting as I was tired and it was late.
Again I assure you I am not. Have a great Christmas season and Christmas day!
