We’ve gotten about 2 inches of snow. I think it’s a little premature to declare a “state of emergency”.
I’ve noticed that the officials do that “ahead of time” just based on the projections. I’ve noticed this before and have seen it many times, since I’ve been in Oklahoma.
I just noticed this in another article ...
“Pruitt said Oklahoma’s price-gouging law prohibits an increase of more than 10 percent in the price of most goods and services when a state of emergency has been declared.”
Interesting ... as I didn’t know this.
