Posted to a lib on FB today who quickly STFU
An increase from Il min wage of 8.25 to 15 would increase wages from 206k to 375k (using 5ftand15pt employees) that is that is 168,750 in wages alone, now tack on an additional 20k for increased taxes and WC insurance and that is 189k in additional cost. They are not simply going to eat that cost, they are going to reduce staff and increase prices!

If some is good, why not make the minimum wage $50/hr? Wouldn’t that “create” even more wealth and jobs than a puny $10/hr?
