As with an earlier AG, Janet Reno (and say Waco, ..., etc. - those "ongoing investigations" which never did end - and hence resulted in zilch), the most important things a President needs are: (a) a compliant AG, and (b) an impenitent Congress (i.e., nada on active, aggressive, and adversarial oversight).

Obama and his administration are clear proof of this.

If you watched the same hearing I did, it would appear there is nothing that can be done. Elections were the most often mentioned remedy, but if elections are as rigged as I believe them to be, then what?

Impeachment was referred to as the "I" word that no one wanted to mention. In any case impeachment could go forward, with zero chance of removal by the Senate, so is discounted.
