Our states have power but the states have sat on their thumbs for too long, too. We have not used all the tools that were made available to us. Hopefully we can start trying to use the tools and it’s not too late.

A little more help and less resistance from our elected officials and the dagblasted media would be nice!

The states ceded the prime part of their power with the 17th Amendment nearly a century ago. They gave up being inside the process and the prediction of Lincoln was essentially complete when he remarked about “saving the Union only to sacrifice the Republic.”

Ike proved they have no power when he removed George Wallace from the school door, under threat of arrest. George was no Alfalfa Bill Murry.
