U.S. Rep. Tom Cole is denying reports that House Speaker John Boehner will delay a vote on immigration reform until after candidates can register to run for House seats.
Some see Boehner as trying to trick people who think hell be tough on immigration. When tea party candidates fail to register against incumbents, hell push reform through, according to one report.

Reports. Ya mean the reports of his verbatim quotes saying he wasn’t going to push it this year?
Our party’s candidates WILL register BooHoo, and just like Mc Connell your days are NUMBERED!!!
No one believes that Boehner will be “tough on immigration”. Why does this person believe “tea party candidates [will] fail to register against incumbents”?
If anybody is trying to trick anyone here I’d say it’s Cole and his “don’t worry” message.
IMPEACH BOEHNER !
People in OH truly believe in that foolish man; they must know something we don’t.
The Members of the US House of Representatives elect their Speaker, NOT the voters in Oh H Ten.
Yes, but OH insists on keeping him around for some bizarre reason.
I’m in Ohio...not Boehner’s district, but if I were, I’d help the Conservative running against him.
He has 3 opponents in the Primary as we speak...2 are social and fiscal Conservatives...don’t know about the third.
I was listening to talk show host Andy Parks from Washington DC yesterday and the discussion on his program was that the GOP will campaign against Obamacare, win the elections next fall, then in a lame duck Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year session right after the elections, ram amnesty through.
But with business as usual politicians, I wouldn’t count anything out. There’s campaign cash in amnesty which may be an incentive to pass it soon during the holiday period.
