I mean that anyone who thinks they can even *use* the word ‘Illegals’ and not be thought of as racist is as delusional as people I know on FB who refer the President as “The Kenyan”, “OBummer”, “Zero” and/or post pictures of Obama in photoshopped Muslim/African garb (and yes, we all know there are pictures of him from Indonesia,- so what, there are pictures of Arnold Schwarzenegger in Austrian attire) and then proclaim they aren’t racist. It’s like people who begin a sentence, or a screed with “I’m not racist, but…”

Racism is not an objective label, it is like being ugly or smelling bad: if people *think* you are, then you are, no matter what YOU know you believe. Perception is reality every bit as much as it is in a job interview.

I would like constitutional conservatives to get elected. I do not care for the policies of the President or his cabinet, and I do not like a great deal of what he has done, but until people start realizing that the second one starts whining about “you’re playing the race card” one has lost the discussion and the vote, we ARE done. Claiming your opponent has ‘played the race card’ is like griping about a bad hand dealt in a poker game… tough; quite griping and do better next time.

Does this mean that anyone seeking office or associating with those seeking political office has to toe a delicate ‘politically correct’ (to the point of ridiculous) line? Yes. That is the way things are, anyone who doesn’t like it had best get used to losing elections.

Perception is not reality, regardless of how many times this silly quote is repeated.

Nothing any hispanic or negro person does can be criticized.
That’s just the way it is and we shouldn’t fight it- we’re racist if we do, or at least we have to then fight against the accusation. Which fight we won’t win.

Yes, it’s a wonderful thing the media has accomplished in this country. Let’s just lie back and enjoy it.

Actually I think it’s a winning idea to oppose ‘black culture’ and illegal border crossing. It does mean the media will do as much as it can to destroy you. But that is a fight our culture desperately needs. The media is a predatory oligarchy and people will find that concept appaling once it’s forced upon them.

The flaw in your argument is thinking that you can win these people over by placating/pandering to them. You can't. A number of Pubbie pols have tried (J.D. Hayworth, McCain) and gotten trounced for their efforts. Because they don't vote for Dems because Pubbies are mean to them...they vote for Dems because the Dems hand far more "freebies" than the Pubbies.

And furthermore, you're speaking dishonestly. They're illegals...plain and simple. To call them anything else is to live a lie. Whether from Latin American or anywhere else, an illegal is still an illegal.
