Amazon.com Inc. is testing delivery packages using drones, CEO Jeff Bezos said Sunday on the CBS television program "60 Minutes."
Bezos said the drones, unmanned vehicles that fly through the air, could deliver packages that weigh up to five pounds. That represents roughly 86 percent of packages that Amazon delivers, he said.
The drones, which would pick up items from Amazon's distribution centers and fly them to customer's homes, probably won't be put into use for four or five years, Bezos said.
Amazon may start using the drones, which can deliver packages within 30 minutes, in four to five years pending Federal Aviation Administration approval, Bezos said.

we prime just about everything including food.
We do very well saving money this way. I stop at Sams club for things that don’t ship well (Dairy, fruits, veggies and fresh meat) when I need gas.
I lost track but I know we have saved 1500+ bucks just in the discounted rates we pay for the item.

My understanding was you know that you have a package arriving in 30 minutes. It’s like waiting for a cab … keep your eyes open and keep looking out the window.
Then a package falls from the sky.
Actually there is no reason the, by GPS, they couldn’t call your cell and say they are outside.
This is such BS, it’s on every channel and radio station.
It will not work, made up nonsense reported as accurate reality. Sort of like Obamas history, all fluff and no substance.
Just let an Amazon drone try to fly over Bubbas casa. I’m thinking the 12 gauge loaded with 00 buck through a 32” full choke barrel would be capable of taking out the delivery to about 100 yards. .22 for longer range! Dang sounds like fun!

What exactly should the Vichy GOP do or what is the best strategy? The answer is get the hell out of the way, let the Tea Party take the lead. They should not be embarrassed by folks like Cruz like when he went on the offensive regarding obamacare, they should have supported him.
Tried & true conservatives such as Cruz and Palin and all Tea Party candidates need to run adds countering the war on women. They need to challenge their opponents in debates and go on the offensive, use facts showing what a lie it is. They need to show hypocrisy, such as how their hero Bill Clinton just uses women.
Such people are much more articulate than I ever could be on the subject. They are people I have faith in.
