Chicago, which has some of the toughest gun control laws in America, had a rough November. Despite the cold weather, it was a popular month for shooting. The website heyjackass.com has collected the final November totals:

It's becoming very evident that we really are two separate countries. The red country and the blue country. The red state and the blue state. The red city and the blue city. The red neighborhood and the blue neighborhood. The red people and the blue people.
The governments, the laws, the programs for red and blue are not compatible. The more we try to mix them together the more they try to pull apart. Am I becoming a partisan?

The Chicago Police Superintendent is out declaring homicides are down 20% and shootings are down 25% from last year for the same period.
I thought Obama’s hometown was Mombasa.
Cold weather really slows them down. Less than one per day.

No, you are simply recognizing the situation for what it is, and you are spot on!
Don't want to appear cynical, but I wouldn't trust a lot of the numbers coming out of police departments.
