New Hampshire cannot be written off as a blue state. It gives all the indications of a Blue state. It hasn't gone for the Republican since 2000. The governor, one senator, and two congressmen are Democrats, and the remaining senator is a RINO. It's the kind of place that's made for Christie to make an early splash.

I definitely agree that its a natural Christie state... that’s why Cruz needs to work his ass off.

[New Hampshire is] the kind of place that's made for Christie to make an early splash. New Hampshire is the kind of place that voted for McCain in 2000...

The Republican establishment has decided they don't want any part of conservatism.
Yet, the
battered wife syndrome conservatives hang on to the GOP. They think that they can vote for the same and get a different result.

When I see Politicians all over the media, I become very suspicious of them. Mc Cain and Schumer are good examples of Politicians with huge egos who can’t resist a camera or microphone. Cruz seems to be following in that mode.

I think that is just your perception.
Another way to look at it is that Senator Cruz is fearless and will not back down, including putting himself out their in enemy territory where the press is concerned.
Reagan did much the same as Senator Cruz is doing after losing to Ford on the convention floor. He spent the next 4 years criss-crossing the country getting his message out to the grass-roots in preparation for a run in 1980.
I see this as no different.

influential Iowa evangelical leader Bob Vander Plaats....
I appreciate the gentleman, but, I wish for just once, his influence would extend beyond the Caucus and into the General Election. When was the last time Iowa went Red in the Presidential Election?
