Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Kentucky Republican up for re-election in 2014, told the Washington Examiner in an interview published Friday that he believes it is time for the GOP establishment to stop conservatives and Tea Partiers.
McConnell argued it is utter nonsense for groups like the Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF), which has endorsed his primary challenger businessman Matt Bevin, to argue that Republicans like him in Congress are not fighting hard enough to defeat Democrats. In the interview, McConnell focused on deriding Tea Partiers for leading the effort to defund Obamacaresomething that, coupled with the Democrats refusal to compromise on the soon-to-fail Obamacare, resulted in a government shutdown.
The Senate Conservatives Fund is giving conservatism a bad name, McConnell told the Examiner for the piece titled The Establishment Fights Back: Mitch McConnell leads GOP battle against Tea Party insurgents.
Theyre [SCF] participating in ruining the [Republican] brand, McConnell said. What they do is mislead their donors into believing the reason that we cant get as good an outcome as wed like to get is not because of a Democratic Senate and a Democratic president, but because Republicans are insufficiently committed to the causewhich is utter nonsense.

I’d like one of those sumbitches to say that to my face. Too much of a candy ass is my bet.Nothing screams new party like mitch the turtle and the cry baby.
Dear Mitch McConnell,
The Tea Party is/was the BASE of the Republican Party. They are the voters who would vote for the GOP EVERY SINGLE TIME. Why did they stop? Because people like YOU moved so far to the left that you became unworthy of supporting.
You are targeting the very people who put you into office. Do you realize how STUPID you are? I don’t think so.
Sincerely,
A Conservative who no longer supports GOP Establishment liberals.
“Rat election fraud, which the GOP was happy to condone, “

The RNC signed a consent decree in ‘81 or ‘82, in which they agreed not to pursue vote fraud cases unless they got permission from the courts first. So in many cases their hands are tied. They tried, in 2011 or so, to get that decree dissolved and the court said “No!”. Now if TEA Party was a separate party, not linked to GOP, they could then pursue fraud cases with vigor.
Of greater concern to me is teh lack of GOP interest in stopping the unconstitutional acts of the executive branch. McConnel recently said, basically, yeah how bout that, he’s doing whatever he wants! As though the congress was powerless to act. I must wonder- could the DNC have that much blackmail material?
he must be defeated.
I never liked this creep.
STFU Miotch. F’n Rat enabler.
We are all sooooooooo skerrrrred, Mighty Mouse Mitch.
Nuthin but Kapos groveling before their democrat masters.
Are we sure this is accurate? Sounds like political suicide. I know Mitch is stupid but I can’t imagine he’s that damn dumb.
bttt
Buh-bye, Mitchie...
I dream of Mitch having a cell right next to the ones holding Reid and Pelosi.
Wonder who his DNC handler is.
mitch,
You and your entire ‘establishment’ don’t have the testicular fortitude to stand up to us on a good day. On a bad day, you would all faint from sheer exhaustion and lack of oxygen and maybe even drop dead because guess what. We surround you and we have more guts than you think.
You and your establishment need to take your ill-gotten gains and run away now while you can still shuffle along shakey as you are.
The rinos are arrogant.
I met Mitch in 2010, and I was stunned. He’s a creeper. He drips dirty oily politics.
Contribute time and money until it hurts to the campaign of Matt Bevin and the other worthy candidates endorsed by the Senate Conservatives Fund.
