I think going out with the lawyer would be a great idea - - if he has all the info, you could have a great conversation and glean a lot of info. That’s an interesting story about you, him and your fence. If he’s interested, it appears he likes feisty ladies ;-)
Waiting until 2014 seems like a good idea, everyone gets very busy during the Christmas season. However, if he invites you to a Christmas party, you might meet some interesting folks and glean even more info.
I suspect your new calling is in politics of some sort, probably at the county or state level (Rep or Sen) for now (though I could easily see you on the National stage. The lawyer and author and the people you meet through them could help further your mission :-)

The AB/SC Seattle Summit went very well IMHO. AB’s a congenial, nice looking, and intelligent man (though we knew that from his FR posts) and we had some laughs and a great conversation - - -though I don’t believe we discussed you or fishing ;-)
