I think Bongino ran for Senate against incumbent Ben Cardin - himself a survivor of a savings and loan crisis in Maryland in the 1980s. As head of the Maryland Senate, Cardin was instrumental in covering-up a document identifying the connected Marylanders who were able to withdrawal their monies before the collapse. Nobody will ever find out the names of those wealthy democrats who eluded bankruptcy - including other members of the millionaire Cardin family.

Cardin and Senator Mikulski are actually the same person. You'll notice that they were never photographed together.

Grey suit: shapeless. Grey dress: shapeless. This is the guy Steele couldn't beat. Whose seat is Bongino after, Buchanan's?
