It’s called breaking and entering claiming squatters rights. I would escort the perp into the street under arms and then shoot him. As long as their are not witnesses, the problem is solved.

So let’s see...if you broke into your own house and this occupier tried to get you to leave and you shot and killed him, would that be home defense? Confusing!
The guy needs to be given an “education”, he’s obviously been studying Pelosi-Reid style law way too much.

Not that I agree with what has been done here - but in regards to what you say - someone who was smart and slick about it (in taking over the house) would always have two or three people around as witnesses, be armed himself ... and ... if any altercation happened, call the police immediately, who would then arrive, look at the legal paperwork, and say, “It’s a civil matter and you’ll have to fight it out in court.”
If the previous homeowner tried to “do anything physical” about it, without going to court - then he would be subject to being arrested.

I don’t agree with this guys action one bit, but I will say his group is classified by the southern poverty law center as extremists, which to me means anything the southern poverty law center says, I take the opposite.

Unless you went to a non-reciprocal state, left your firearms in the house, and had the squatter take them. Now, if you go purchase a gun to shoot him without engaging law enforcement, premeditation is easy to prove.
This is what happens when cops are afraid to act because of lawsuits. They punt to the courts.

Shooting him in the street and not on your property will get you arrested for murder right quick. Shortly before I met my wife she was being stalked by an old boyfriend who tried on several occasions to kill her. She and her son had a car alarm installation business and had a pistol/right to carry permit. The local police knew the guy, had several run ins with him and were anxious to get him either in custody or in the morgue.(cops aren't always the bad guys). They told her above all else wait until he's on the property or in the house to shoot him because if he's any where else or his back is to you the judge isn't going to by the ‘’self-defense’’ argument. As it turned out he broke into her apartment. She told me she picked up the gun(a .380 automatic) but her hands were shaking so much she couldn't aim straight. A-hole saw the pistol pointing at him and did the fastest pack peddling out the door in history and she never had a problem with him again. Pal, you sure have chosen a good screen name for yourself I must say.
