This is actually really well done if it’s supposed to be a spoof, because it’s actually pretty hard to tell if it was staged. The best line is at the end: “OK, turn off the camera” in a voice of total disgust.

If it hadn’t been for that line and the way it was said, I would have definitely said this thing was a spoof.

Probably more that a few who needed to "prove" that they are being persecuted of their obamafaith. Or they needed to play the spoiler because they have no respect for those who don't think in lockstep with them, so that's what they always do. Whatever their motive, it isn't out of kindness or concern, but of drama, duplicity, and subterfuge.

One positive to such mischief is that if any families were genuinely caught off-guard by a sleeper troll, they now have a positive ID on the enemy in their midst.

I agree. I think the only staging was the rest of the family planned to laugh her away. Many have at least one family member like this. Heck, because of the emptying out of the psychiatric hospitals in the name of compassion, we have swollen the ranks of the jails, homelessness, mass shootings and obama followers. The latter of course are the criminally insane.
