We're doing even worse than our colleagues in the fish wrap business.
Peddling shoddy merchandise will do that to an enterprise.....
I’m overjoyed. The Atlanta Greyhound has stopped showing CNN in favor of the Weather Channel. Even the reality shows are more real than their expose of Sea World that they show ad nauseum, or Firing Line, with its host, has-been politician Newt Gingrich.
One conservative representation vs. five other liberal stations.... Fox could easily take about half and the other’s, e.g., CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, etc., have to share the other half. TV news is really just politically skewed for the viewership. Today in Obama’s America the masses are realizing that the TV news really has just represented the Democrat Party and the President, while lying about the conservative opposition. It took Obamacare but eyes are wide open today.
Kill off the Monolithic Media! Give’em a hug and pull the plug!
And they probably count anyone who walks through an airline terminal as a "viewer".
Fox sucks too.
NBC To Win November Sweep, But TV Networks’ Ratings Down Overall
by Wayne Friedman, Wednesday, November 27, 2013 11:38 AM
NBC is on the verge of winning the November TV viewing prime-time period for the second time in two years. But overall, the month still doesn’t offer much good news for any English-speaking broadcast network.
By many viewing metrics, networks have lost ground — and it’s just two days from the end of Nielsens November reporting period.
NBC is down 7% to a 2.6 rating among 18-49 viewers when looking at Nielsens live-plus-same-day viewing metrics. CBS is off 8% to a 2.2 average rating; ABC is down 9% to a 2.0 number; and Fox has lost 23% to a 1.7 rating.
CNN and MSNBC should be thankful for airport terminals and nursery homes.
