Are “Knockout game” fears an example of ‘moral panic’? (Spin & ridicule it, so it goes away)

Myth or fact? Fact: it is happening. The video evidence is difficult to deny. Geez, the Negro Mayor of Philadelphia spoke of the consequences of playing the game just this week. Add in FBI general crime stats (facts) and you know there is a problem in the Negro community. Am I afraid of the knockout game? No. Does it upset me? Yes.

I am physically safe. My neighborhood is Negro-free and crime-free. There are more guns than people in my neighborhood. (Hunters, shooters, gun enthusiasts, and preppers - not criminals.) So why does it upset me? Quite simple, I pay taxes. My wife and I are raising our two children to be good citizens, God fearing Christians and we do it without government assistance. Every tax dollar that we pay that washes through state and federal government and ends up in healthcare, daycare, K-12 education, food stamps, Obama phones, WIC, section 8 housing, and dozens of other programs is wasted. On top of that our tax dollars have to used on a sometimes corrupt judicial system, inner city police forces, and correctional systems when the redistributive socialism doesn't work. When Negroes act up, we pay more. This is not racist. I have a problem with white-trash too, but from a percentage of population perspective, Negroes are a bigger problem. Plus 95% of Negroes voted for Obama, twice. No other demographic comes close. They must want the destruction, or more nicely stated, the fundamental transformation of America.

So the eUropean propaganda media thinks that kids games are fine. More people murdered in Chicago that Afghanistan is according to their morals. Rape must be another of the perfected EU games. Special rights to barbarian religions must also be preferred.

Here’s what’s happening. This activity has become so widespread that the media can no longer ignore it. The left is panicking, fearing that someday, somewhere, someone will notice that it’s always Black perps and White or Asian victims, and then the whole artificial left wing construct will come tumbling down. They worked hard to build it up, what with OJ, Trayvon, Duke U and all that. White Guilt is running at an all time high. Can’t let anything happen to it now!

Moral panics happen. Perhaps most notably in the panic about pedophilia in day care centers several decades ago. Utterly ruined the lives of several completely innocent families.

The problem here is that any reasonable person will recognize that the police and media have been complicit in downplaying this story for several years. This means accurate statistics have not been and are not being kept, so it is impossible to determine whether the incidence is increasing or not, or to what extent. Thus people by default fall back on anecdotal evidence, which is quite worthless in determining whether a problem is getting worse or not.

So this could indeed be something resembling a moral panic, or it could be a genuine and growing problem. No real evidence either way.

I find it particularly disturbing, BTW, that this “game” has been well known to Freepers for several years, but didn’t hit the MSM till somebody connected it to attacks on Jews. Apparently attacks on “normal” white people are of no concern.

Newsweek writes that the word ‘thug’, used for instance on a front page of the New York Post about the game, is a demeaning word against “black men and boys.”

Actually, "thug" refers to devout human-sacrificing Indian (dot, not feather) Kali-worshipers in 19th-century (and possibly much earlier) India.
