I have spent the last couple years preparing for a collapse. That said I say if Christie is the nominee I will not vote. If it takes a collapse to get the GOPe to realize that the base will not support dems that they put up so be it. I don’t care how much lipstick they put on that pig Christie I will not vote for him.

I think the Roves and the Priebuses have already run the calculus figures and they're confident that they have just enough rubes who either
- Always vote for the "R" no matter what; or
- Don't pay attention much, and are attracted to bright, shiny ad campaigns that sound kinda Republican and have candidates with good hair; or
- Are squishy GOP voters who can be cajoled, threatened and/or browbeaten into going along with their anointed RINO candidate.
You'll see the threats trying to scare the squishies. Watch for the posts here on FreeRepublic shortly after Krispy Kreme's the nominee, saying things like "Hillary thanks you for your vote".

Agree with you on both points. I voted, reluctantly for McLame and Romney. No way if we get a rubio, christie, or jebbush.

The problem is the gop wing of the uniparty doesn’t care if jabba or PIAPS wins. Its a win for them either way.

I’ll do ya one better. If Christie gets the nod, I’ll vote for the Dem. The GOP loses 2 votes that way. It may be the only way they’ll ever learn.

Same here, no voting unless it is someone I could back ideologically. Christie is NOT him (her). Neither is JEB or Mario...
IMHO, it’s Cruz, Lee, or someone like them. Most likely will register Independent soon if Republicans do not grow 1) spines 2) Cajones.
