When I saw the story the other day about the lesbian waitress who was stiffed for a tip by a couple of customers who disapproved of her homosexuality, I thought it was awful, but I held off on commenting because something didn’t seem quite right about it. The people who stepped forward to challenge her claims were doing something to stand up for the truth. Better than nothing, IMHO.
Are people on the social(ist) networking sites still sending her money out of charity and solidarity? How much did she bank at the end of her scam?
As I recall, a number of us on FR called this a hoax immediately….
Now do you really think that stiffing a waitress is the proper venue for that? I think scripture is screaming and calling you a pharisee…..warning you against casting that first stone…..

IDK if your straight or gay, white, black or another color if the food is good, and you take care of our needs as a customer I’ll leave you a tip.

You don’t stiff someone on a tip for work they’ve done. If you don’t like them, you get up and leave before any service is provided. That sends a clearer message.
The Bible condemns homosexuality. That stone was cast over 2,000 years ago by a source greater than us.
Homosexuality goes against nature and natures God. Nothing found in nature engages in it. It's an abonimation.
The couple unfairly accused needs to sue the waitress.

Depriving a person of the expected and customary compensation for their services is a form of theft. It’s despicable, really.
I agree that homosexuality, Sodomy, is an abomination; just like the sin of Onanism, which is to say, the first act of contraception in recorded history (Genesis 38:10). God also said that was evil; in fact, he slew Onan for it. But I wouldn't deny wages or tips to contraceptors who happen to be waiting on my table.
But you so miss the point. Being an inappropriate ass is not scriptural either. Stiffing a waitress with a rude note is totally the wrong thing to do. We can’t go around being asses to everyone who happens to wait on us in a restaurant or a bar or a store or whatever because they are, or appear to be, gay.
As I said, you’re being pharisaical and missing the entire point of the parable about casting the first stone. And yet, you cast away nonetheless…..

So true. Setting aside the fact that this particular episode was a hoax and a fraud, the fact that some on here are condoning the stiffing of the waitress is appalling.
As I understand it, the waitress did not participate in lesbian sex with the customer. She served them food and drink. So she should have been compensated for that which she did, and left alone (at this time) for that which she didn’t do. There’s a time and a place for everything…..
Freepers called this hoax early. As soon as the news came out!!!
